- Ready-made flan/tart shell
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 1 small sachet of gelatin or strawberry-flavored jelly
- 1 cup hot water
- *Custard
- 1 liter liquid milk
- 1 cup sugar (or less, to taste)
- 5 tablespoons custard powder
- How to make the strawberry flan:
- Start by preparing the custard mixture. You can make the custard light or thick, but a medium consistency is preferred.
- Dissolve the sugar in the milk using a hand whisk. Take one cup of this milk mixture into a separate bowl to dissolve the custard powder.

Method
- Put the milk with sugar on the heat until it warms. Before it boils, add the cup of milk in which you dissolved the custard powder and whisk quickly to avoid lumps.
- Leave the custard aside until it cools to use on the tart.
- Place the ready-made flan/tart shell on the serving plate. The shell does not need baking and can be used immediately.
- Pour the prepared, cooled custard into the flan shell.
- Arrange the sliced strawberries neatly on top.
- Separately, dissolve the gelatin sachet in the hot water. Before it cools and sets completely, pour it over the strawberries to keep their shape and gloss.
