Manakeesh Dough (Flatbread Dough)

Manakeesh dough — a fantastic homemade recipe!
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4–5 cups flour (depending on the flour type)

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the lukewarm water with the yeast, sugar, and salt and leave them aside for about 10 minutes until the yeast frothsTimers: 10 min
- After 10 minutes, put them into a large bowl and add the milk and the oil and mix, then add the flour in batches and knead
- Continue adding flour and kneading until you obtain a soft, elastic dough
- Let it rest for about half an hour
- After half an hour, start using it; besides manakeesh, this dough is suitable for lahmacun, pizza, pastries, and even bread
