Sayadieh with Fish Fillets

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 kg fish fillets, cut and seasoned
- For seasoning the fish: ground cumin + salt + mixed spices
- 2 large onions
- 3 cups basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon turmeric or yellow color (akdat safra)
- Salt

- 6 cups boiling water

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Fry the seasoned, salted fillets and set them aside.
- Slice the onions into rings, fry them, and set aside.
- Wash and drain the rice, then place half the fried onions and fish in the bottom of the pot, add the rice, sprinkle mixed spices, turmeric, salt, and cumin over it, pour in 6 cups boiling water, and bring to a boil.
- Keep the water boiling over high heat until the water level reaches the rice.
- Seal the pot with plastic wrap or cover it, reduce the heat, and let the rice cook over low heat for about half an hour.
- Turn the pot over a few minutes after turning off the heat, then arrange the remaining fish and onions with the fried nuts on top.
