Ingredients

  • 65 g all-purpose flour
  • 65 g powdered sugar
  • 65 g granulated sugar
  • 50 g egg whites

Method

  1. In a deep bowl, beat the egg whites with the sugar well and continuously until you get a thick white mixture.
  2. You can add food coloring according to the color and flavor you want for the macarons.
  3. In another bowl, sift the flour and powdered sugar, then add the flour mixture to the egg-and-sugar mixture and mix well.
  4. Put the macaron mixture into a piping bag or a small transparent kitchen bag and snip off the tip.
  5. Pipe the mixture into small circles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake the macarons in the oven for about 10 minutes; remove them as soon as they begin to set so they remain soft.

  7. Remove the macarons from the oven, and when cooled, fill them with chocolate, jam, or caramel according to your preference.
