Mini Atmalieh with Custard
Mini Atmalieh with an easy, delicious recipe. This dish is elegant for serving guests and for special occasions.
Ingredients

- 1 packet or box of knafeh pastry for atmalieh
- Custard
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/4 cup flour
- A pinch of vanilla
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- Sugar syrup (qatir or shireh)
- Pistachios for garnish
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Crumble the knafeh pastry and shape it in an open round mold, then fry it in oil over the heat until golden brown.
- Prepare the custard: mix the ingredients and cook over the heat until the mixture thickens. Set it aside to cool completely.
- When the atmalieh cools, fill it with the custard, garnish with pistachios, and pour the syrup (qater) over it
