- 2 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts, as desired
- How to prepare the filling:
Method
- Boil the potatoes and mash them well until smooth. Set aside.
- Prepare the onion in the meantime. Heat a little oil and fry the finely chopped onion until golden.
- Mix the washed fine bulgur with salt, spices, and marjoram or basil, kneading well and adding a little water until the bulgur swells... then add the fried onion to the kibbeh mixture and knead well
- Filling:
- 3 onions
- 2 tablespoons sumac
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts, as desired
- How to prepare the filling:
- Cut the onions into wedges and fry them in oil until golden, then add pine nuts or walnuts as desired. Add the sumac and mix well
- Prepare an oven tray and grease it with oil. Take a portion of the kibbeh and spread it across the bottom of the tray, then add the filling and another layer of kibbeh, score it and put it in a preheated oven until it browns well and cooks through...
