- 2 cups fresh mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- chicken bouillon cube
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cooking cream - optional
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of black pepper
Method
- First, finely chop the onion. Place the chopped onion in a deep pot and sauté in oil until soft, then add the minced or mashed garlic and stir well.
- Once the onion and garlic have softened and lightly browned, add the mushroom slices or chopped mushrooms as desired.
- Add the bouillon cube with continuous stirring, then add the butter. Also add the flour and mix well until the ingredients are well combined.
- Finally, add the milk and enough water to reach the desired consistency. At this stage you may also add heavy cream to enrich and thicken the soup.
- Finally, season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of black pepper.
