  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley

Method

  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Cut the carrots into cubes as well, and dice one onion.
  2. Put 3 cups of water in a pot over the heat and add the chicken stock cube; add the potatoes, then the carrots, and finally the onion cut into cubes and the garlic..
  3. Simmer the vegetables over low heat until tender, add the powdered milk dissolved in half a cup of water. Blend or purée the ingredients with an electric blender. Blend to the desired consistency — fully smooth or leaving some pieces.
  4. Separately, fry the second chopped onion as you like (slices or diced); when the onion turns golden, add it to the soup mixture.
  5. Add salt and black pepper to the soup, and finally stir in the chopped parsley and turn off the heat.
