Easy Chicken Shawarma Recipe

Chicken shawarma with an easy homemade marinade and delicious flavor. It is best to leave the chicken in the marinade for at least 6 hours to get a strong flavor and tender chicken after grilling.

Ingredients:

6 chicken breasts, cut into long strips - or as much as you want

1/2 cup olive oil

1/2 cup lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, crushed

black pepper

red pepper

salt

1 cup yogurt

  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • A pinch of salt
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method

  1. Place the chicken, after washing it well, in a bowl and add to the chicken the oil, lemon juice, salt, yogurt, garlic, and spices.
  2. Leave the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours so the ingredients blend well.

  3. Fry the chicken breasts in butter in a non-stick pan, or you can roast the chicken in the oven, according to preference.
  4. Allow the chicken to brown well and serve it with French fries, pickles, and garlic sauce.
