Ingredients
- 2 cups chickpea flour
- 2 cups plain flour
- a pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon turmeric
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1/2 cup melted ghee
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- Syrup, optional
Method
- Sift and mix the dry ingredients together.
- Add the milk, yogurt, melted ghee, and oil, and mix well.
- Grease a baking tray with butter and spread the batter in it. You can decorate it with nuts, if desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C until cooked through. After 30 minutes, test it with a small wooden skewer, since the time needed depends on the rack level where you place the tray in the oven.Timers: 30 min
- When you remove it from the oven, brush the top with a little syrup so it shines. This step is optional.
- Serve the sfoof once it has cooled.
