- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup tahini
- Nuts (for sprinkling)
Method
- Put 1 cup of sugar in a wide pan over the heat with no additions. Stir the sugar until it melts completely and caramelizes to a caramel color.
- Turn off the heat and add the tahini, stirring the mixture well until it comes together completely.
- Spread the mixture on parchment paper or on a lightly oiled surface and spread it quickly before it hardens; immediately sprinkle the nuts as desired, cut it, and wait until it cools and firms well before breaking it where you cut it.
