Ingredients

- 2 cups medium semolina
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons ghee (or clarified butter)
- Pistachios for garnish, or as desired
- Syrup

- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the sugar, semolina, and baking powder together, then add the ghee and yogurt and mix well
- Grease the baking pan with ghee and pour in the namoura mixture, smoothing the surface
- Let the namoura rest for two hours, then garnish with pistachios
- Place the pan in the oven and bake on the middle rack until the edges brown and it is cooked through
- Let the namoura cool completely at room temperature before pouring the hot syrup over it
- Serve the namoura once it has cooled again
