Sfoof with Orange Juice

Sfoof with orange juice is an easy recipe with just a few ingredients! We’ve all made sfoof with milk or water before, but have you tried it with orange?

Sfoof is a beloved dessert... Who doesn’t love sfoof for its delicious taste and how easy it is to make! Not to mention that it does not require using a mixer to combine the ingredients, since it contains no eggs.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • Nuts for garnish

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Mix all the ingredients well with a spoon
  2. Pour the batter into a pan greased with tahini
  3. Garnish with nuts as desired
  4. Bake the sfoof in an oven preheated to 150°C for 45 minutes, or حسب the strength of the oven .. and make sure to place the pan on the rack so it does not burn from the bottom
    Timers: 45 min
  5. Check that the sfoof is cooked through using a small wooden skewer
  6. When the sfoof is done, brown it slightly from the top
  7. Remove it from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then cut and serve
