Chocolate Sfoof

Chocolate Sfoof — why not serve sfoof with chocolate instead of the traditional version? The base recipe is great, but this one is worth trying too, especially since kids love chocolate.

Chocolate Sfoof — an amazing flavor for sfoof

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup fine semolina
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
  • 1 tablespoon rosewater
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Mix the flour with the semolina and baking powder in a bowl.
  2. Add the oil to the mixture and rub it with your hand or stir with a spoon until the mixture is uniform.
  3. In another bowl, combine the liquid milk with the cocoa without heating, then add the sugar and stir well until it dissolves.
  4. Then gradually add the milk-and-cocoa mixture along with orange blossom water and rose water over the flour mixture and mix with a whisk or a spoon.
  5. Grease a (20 * 30 cm) baking pan with oil, pour the chocolate sfoof mixture, and smooth the surface.
  6. Place the pan into the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes or until done, depending on the oven's strength.
    Timers: 30 min
  7. Let the chocolate sfoof cool to room temperature and serve it.
