Lentil Soup with Chard and Lemon

Lentil soup with chard and lemon is one of the tastiest soups, especially if you like a sour flavor!
Ingredients

- 1 dry onion
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 potato
- 1 carrot
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro (coriander), chopped
- 1/2 cup brown lentils
- Fresh green chard leaves
- Salt
- Juice of 2 lemons

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a deep pot over the heat, sauté the onion and garlic until they soften slightly
- Add the chopped fresh coriander (cilantro) and stir it with the onion and garlic
- Add about 3 cups of water over the onion, garlic, and coriander
- Add the potatoes and carrots cut into small cubes or to the desired size
- After several minutes add the lentils.
- When the lentils boil add the chopped green chard
- When the chard is cooked add the lemon juice and turn off the heat. You can increase or decrease the lemon juice according to taste
