Ingredients
- Dough:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sunflower oil
- 1/2 cup water

- Ingredients for the beef filling:
- Finely minced beef
- Finely chopped onion
- Vegetable oil
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of seven-spice (baharat)
- A pinch of black pepper

Method
- Mix the ingredients except the water.
- Add the water and knead. You can add a little more water depending on the type of flour and as needed.
- Prepare the filling: place the beef in a skillet and stir until it dries out (loses excess moisture).
- Add the chopped onion with the oil and cook until the onion softens.
- Finally add the salt and spices and stir.
- Let the beef filling cool slightly.
- Roll the dough out on a clean surface, cut to the desired shapes, then fill and seal. You can seal by hand or press the edges with a fork.
- Fry the sambousek stuffed with beef or bake them in the oven according to your preference.
- Note: You can use the same dough and fill it with cheese or vegetables instead of meat, according to your preference.
