Ramadan Bread
Suhoor is one of the essential, and indeed healthy, meals in the blessed month, so we should take care to prepare light dishes for suhoor just as we do for iftar.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 3 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 small cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons laban raib (yogurt)
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup warm milk

- Rana A Ali
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix all the ingredients above to obtain a soft dough... Spread it by hand and shape it as desired, then sprinkle with sesame seeds and nigella seeds, and brush it with egg yolk mixed with 1 teaspoon Nescafe dissolved in a little water..
- Leave the dough pieces for a while to rest and rise before baking them in a preheated hot oven
- When they are done, cover them with a cloth to keep them soft...
