Eggless Choco Prince Dessert

Choco Prince, or lazy cake! An irresistibly delicious dessert made with ingredients you already have at home, and the best part is that it doesn’t need an oven. Our recipe has no eggs :) Give it a try.

Choco Prince... or the wonderful chocolate biscuit cake... Its ingredients are available at home, it’s easy, and it couldn’t be more delicious.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 2 packages plain tea biscuits‏
  • 100 g butter‏
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk powder
  • 1 cup cocoa powder‏
  • 1/4 cup liquid milk‏
  • 2 tbsp orange juice‏
  • 1 container clotted cream
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk (for dipping the biscuits)

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Place the butter in a saucepan over the heat until melted.
  2. Add the sugar, cocoa, and milk powder, and mix until combined. Stir well, then turn off the heat.
  3. Add the milk, juice, and cream, and mix everything well.
  4. Prepare a Pyrex dish... Dip the biscuits briefly in the liquid milk, without letting them absorb too much so they don't fall apart... Arrange the biscuits as the first layer, then spread some of the mixture over the biscuit layer and smooth the surface.
  5. Repeat the same process to get several layers.
  6. When finished, sprinkle cocoa powder over the top of the Pyrex dish.
  7. Place the dessert in the refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight until fully set.
    Timers: 360 min
  8. Cut the Choco Prince dessert into pieces and serve cold.
  9. Note: You can break the biscuits a little into large pieces and mix them with the batter, then roll the mixture up using a piece of plastic wrap and place it in the freezer to set, then slice and serve.
