- 2 tbsp butter or ghee
- Almonds, walnuts and raisins
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 cardamom pods, ground
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place the semolina on the stove with a small piece of butter and stir constantly over low heat until it changes color and becomes golden-tinted.
- Remove it from the pot and leave it aside.
- Also place the almonds, walnuts, and raisins with a little butter over low heat and stir briefly before adding them to the semolina and mixing.
- In a bowl, put the sugar and 1 cup of desiccated coconut with ground cardamom and the liquid milk over the semolina mixture and knead them by hand; you can add a little milk as needed.
- Once you have a soft dough, shape the Indian ladoos by hand into rounds — see the picture — or as you prefer.
- Garnish the Indian ladoos with nuts as desired and serve.
