Ingredients

  • 4 potatoes, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • Vegetable oil, as needed
  • 1 tablespoon hot chili paste or hot sauce
  • Green and red sweet pepper, diced

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Cut the potatoes into cubes and boil them halfway in salted boiling water.
  2. Drain well, then fry in plenty of hot oil until golden.
  3. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  4. In a pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the garlic until fragrant, then add the peppers and cilantro.
  5. Add the hot chili paste, then the fried potatoes, and toss to combine.
  6. Season with salt to taste, toss again, then turn off the heat.
  7. Serve the batata harra immediately.
