Shrimp Paella

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Medium shrimp, deveined and without tails
- 2 carrots
- 1 red pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 1 cup green peas, fresh or frozen
- 2 cups long-grain basmati rice
- 1 dry onion
- 1 cup mushrooms
- Salt
- 1 chicken stock cube
- Mixed spices: paella seasoning if available, white pepper, paprika, nutmeg
- Water as needed for the rice Preparation
- Clean the shrimp, remove the tails, and wash well, then sauté them with the paella seasoning, a pinch of nutmeg, a pinch of paprika, salt, and a shrimp-flavored stock cube if available. Add white and black pepper as well....
