Ingredients

- 4 tbsp sugar
- 5 tbsp corn oil
- 1 tbsp instant coffee (Nescafé)
- A pinch of salt
- ½ tbsp vanilla
- 2 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1¼ cups water
- 1½ cups flour
- Greasing the cake
- ¼ cup water
- ½ tbsp instant coffee
- Decorating the cake
- Colored chocolate shavings

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Sift all dry ingredients together.
- Add the liquids and mix well until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into a small greased cake pan (lightly brushed with corn oil).
- Bake on the middle rack at 180 °C for 25–30 minutes, depending on your oven.Timers: 30 min
- When the cake is done, dissolve ½ tbsp instant coffee in ¼ cup water and brush the cake with it.
