Turkish Sheet-Pan Kebab

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 500 g finely ground beef (ground twice)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 small onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt, to taste
- A pinch of ground black pepper
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- Topping
- Tomato
- Onion
- Cherry tomatoes
- Bell pepper
- Hot pepper - optional

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Finely chop the onion, garlic, and pepper by hand or in a food processor until very smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the finely chopped vegetables with the meat, salt, and spices, and mix well until the Turkish kebab mixture is homogeneous.
- Brush the baking tray with a little oil and spread the kebab mixture evenly.
- Put the tray into the oven and grill it until it browns slightly.
- Arrange slices of onion, tomato, pepper, and meatballs on top.
- Dilute the sauce with water and distribute it over the kebab in the tray.
- Return the tray to the oven, with heat on top and bottom, and leave it until the sauce thickens and it browns.
- Serve the kebab on the tray with fluffed rice.
