500 g finely ground beef (ground twice)

1 garlic clove

1 small onion

1 red bell pepper

1 tsp paprika

Salt, to taste

A pinch of ground black pepper

2 cups water

2 tbsp tomato paste

Finely chop the onion, garlic and bell pepper, or pulse them in a food processor until very fine.
In a bowl, mix the finely chopped vegetables with the ground meat, salt and spices. Combine well until the kebab mixture is uniform.
Grease the baking tray lightly with oil and spread the kebab mixture evenly over the tray.
Place the tray in the oven and grill/bake until the top starts to brown slightly.
Arrange slices of onion, tomato, bell pepper and cherry tomatoes over the surface.
Dissolve the tomato paste in the water and pour the mixture over the kebab in the tray.
Return the tray to the oven, with heat from above and below, and cook until the sauce thickens and the top is nicely browned.
Serve the sheet-pan kebab with fluffy rice.
