Beef Pastry Cups with Custard

Ingredients

  • Beef puff pastry squares
  • Cupcake tins
  • Melted butter to grease the beef pastries and the cups
  • Cooked custard
  • 7 cups water
  • 4 tablespoons dried milk
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons custard powder
  • Custard

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Grease the cupcake tins with butter, butter the puff pastry on both sides and place them in the tins...
  2. Place the puff pastry cups in a preheated oven on the middle rack at the highest setting until the bottoms brown...
  3. Then brown the tops. Let them cool slightly and fill each cup with a bit of custard while warm.
  4. Place the filled cups in the fridge until the custard sets, and when serving dust them with powdered sugar
  5. Mix all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil... turn off the heat and pour the custard into cups
