Date Fingers
Date Fingers are a very delicious sweet treat suitable for everyone, both adults and children. Make them at home instead of buying them ready-made, so you can be sure of the quality and flavor.
Ingredients

- 3 cups white flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- Filling
- 1/2 kilo dates
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
Method

- Mix all the dough ingredients. Start with the dry ingredients, then add the water and oil until a smooth, homogeneous dough forms. Cover it and let it rest while you prepare the date filling.
- Place the dates with the butter in the microwave until the butter melts and the dates soften.
- Knead the dates and butter with the cinnamon and orange blossom water.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle, shape the date mixture into a long rope, place the date rope on the rectangle, then fold or roll it into fingers and cut to the desired size.
- Bake the date fingers in a preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180°C.Timers: 10 min
- You can brush the date fingers with an egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds before baking.
