- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 eggs, separated
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- Cake filling:
- 750 ml heavy cream for whipping
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon pudding mix or ready-made creme powder
- 3/4 cup sugar

Method
- Whisk the egg whites with the vinegar and salt.
- Sift the flour and baking powder. Whisk the egg yolks with the vanilla for several minutes, then add the sugar and continue whisking; add the sugar in stages and slowly.
- Continue whisking until the egg and sugar mixture turns pale. Add the oil and continue whisking, then begin adding the flour in batches, gradually and slowly.
- At this stage fold the egg whites into the mixture with a wooden spoon, folding from the bottom up.
- Pour the cake batter into a pan and place it in the preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes.Timers: 35 min
- Or leave the pan until the cake puffs up and is cooked; timing depends on the pan size and oven strength.
- When the cake has cooled well, cut it into two layers and fill it.
- Cake filling:
- 750 milliliters fresh whipping cream
- 1/2 cup liquid milk
- 1 tablespoon pudding mix or ready-made powdered cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- Whisk these ingredients well until thickened, then fill the cake.
