Cake with Cream and Jam Filling

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup cake flour
- strawberry jam and whipped Chantilly cream or whipped Dream Whip for the filling

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C well in advance so it heats thoroughly.
- Whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla until the mixture resembles a cream.
- Add the flour and whisk briefly until combined.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pour the cake batter onto it.
- Bake it in the oven for about 15 minutes.Timers: 15 min
- Let the cake cool well at room temperature before filling and decorating.
- Slice the cake horizontally into two or three layers as desired, then spread a layer of jam on each layer and top it with a layer of cream.
- Decorate the cake with cream and jam as desired and refrigerate it for at least two to three hours before serving.
- The delicious chocolate cake is wonderful — try it.
