Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Shrimp, peeled, washed, and drained
- 4 crushed garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated or ground
- 1 sweet red pepper, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon paprika or sweet red pepper powder
- a pinch garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- a pinch finely chopped parsley
- lemon juice
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Put a little oil in a pan, and fry the garlic until it softens.
- Add the ginger, then the cumin seeds and sauté for one minute.
- Add the shrimp and sauté over medium heat.
- Add the finely chopped pepper, salt, and a pinch of garlic powder.. and sauté until the pepper softens.
- Finally, add a little or a splash of lemon juice with a pinch of parsley.. sauté for a minute or less and remove the shrimp from the heat.
- Serve the marinated shrimp as an appetizer or as a main dish alongside white rice or boiled pasta.
