Ingredients
- 2 packages plain biscuits
- 100 g soft butter
- 2 sachets ready-made whipping cream powder
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 1 small container sour cream or clotted cream
- 1 cup or 100 g cream cheese
- 1 sachet strawberry jelly
- 1/4 cup warm water
- Note:
- If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can add powdered sugar, not regular sugar, to the cream and cheese mixture, in the amount you like.
- Strawberry sauce:
Method
- Crush the biscuits and add the melted butter. Mix the biscuits with the butter well, then divide the mixture among the cups, placing enough in each cup and pressing it down with a spoon. Put the cups in the fridge.
- Whisk the whipping cream powder with 1 cup liquid milk for about 5 minutes until foamy, then add the sour cream and cream cheese.Timers: 5 min
- Dissolve the jelly sachet in 1/4 cup warm water. Once the jelly has cooled, add it to the mixture and combine with the cream cheese and cream using a wooden spoon.
- Spoon some of the cream and cheese mixture over the biscuit base in the serving cups, leaving enough room for the strawberry sauce. Return the cups to the fridge for at least 4 hours.Timers: 240 min
- Cut about 1 kilo strawberries, or use a bag of frozen strawberries, and add 1 cup granulated sugar. Wait about half an hour, then add 1/2 cup water, 2 heaping tablespoons cornstarch, and a little red food coloring.
- Mash the mixture with a fork or an immersion blender. Place the mixture over low heat until it thickens slightly. If the mixture seems a bit too thick, add a little water.
- Wait until the strawberry sauce cools, then spoon it over the biscuit and cream cups and return the cups to the fridge until serving time. Garnish as desired....
