Whole Wheat Bread with Whole Wheat Flour, Chia, Oats, and Honey:

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup white flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oats
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups water (or as needed for the dough)

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients starting with the dry ingredients first...
  2. Add honey, olive oil, and water and knead well until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Let the dough rest for a while.
  4. Shape the dough as desired, either into a large loaf or into medium-sized rounds.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven until the bread rises, bakes through, and gains a beautiful golden color...
