Ghraybeh is one of the easiest and most delicious desserts, with a low cost and a long shelf life when stored in a tightly sealed jar ... who wants the recipe? Here you go.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup ghee
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Mix the ghee and sugar together, then add the vanilla and flour. Bring the dough together without kneading.
- Let the ghraybeh dough rest for half an hour in the refrigerator if the weather is hot, or outside the fridge if the weather is mild.
- After the resting time, shape the ghraybeh as desired and arrange the pieces directly on a baking tray.
- Bake the ghraybeh in a preheated oven at 180°C, bottom heat only, for just 7 minutes...Timers: 7 min
- Serve the ghraybeh once it has cooled and reached room temperature.
