Ingredients

  • 1 kilo flour
  • 2 cups lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Here is how to make chicken shawarma from Dalida

Method

  1. Mix the water, yeast, salt, and sugar, then add the flour and oil and knead ... If the dough is very stiff, add a little water (according to the flour's need)... if it's too soft, add a little flour
  2. Let the dough rise in a warm place, covered, for at least one hour or two hours depending on the temperature
  3. After the time has passed... cut the dough into rounds and roll them out, then place the loaves on a cloth to rest and rise for another 20 minutes

  4. Bake the bread in the oven until it puffs up and browns
