Method
- Beat the egg with vanilla and sugar until the sugar dissolves well.
- On the side, rub the butter into the flour, then add the egg, sugar, and vanilla mixture and knead with your fingertips until you obtain a cohesive dough.
- Wrap the tart dough in kitchen plastic wrap and refrigerate for about half an hour.
- After the required time, place the tart dough into small tart tins or into a large pan as desired.
- Prick the dough slightly with a fork after rolling it out to prevent it from puffing up during baking.
- Put the small tart tins or the large pan into a preheated oven at 180°C until the edges brown... approximately 12 minutes.
- When the tart dough is ready and baked, decorate it with cold pastry cream and fruit as desired.
