Method
- Start by preparing the strawberry custard layer: mix all the ingredients together.
- Place the mixture in a pot over medium heat and stir until it comes to a boil and thickens slightly.
- Pour the strawberry custard into glasses or a Pyrex dish so it fills only half the serving vessel.
- Arrange a layer of plain biscuits over the strawberry custard.
- Prepare the chocolate custard layer in the same way and pour it over the first layer.
- Allow the custard to cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
- Chill in the refrigerator for two to three hours until fully set, then serve.
