- Dough:
- 5 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups lukewarm milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Preparation of dough:
- First, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk.
- Spinach filling:
- Finely chopped spinach
- Finely chopped onion
- Sumac
- Pomegranate molasses
- Hot red pepper
- Olive oil
- Salt

Method
- Roll out the dough and cut out medium-sized circles, place a small amount of filling in each circle, and seal them into squares or triangles as desired.
- Be sure to seal the pastries well so the filling doesn't leak during baking.
- Bake the pastries in a preheated oven at high temperature for about 12 minutes or until they are golden and cooked through.
