Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the minced garlic with lemon juice, cumin, pepper, salt, and parsley, and marinate the fish in this mixture for several hours
- Place a pot of water, add one piece of fish, bring to a boil, and add aromatics such as celery and cilantro
- Leave until cooked, then strain the water to use as fish stock
- Place a piece of butter in another pot and add sliced onions, sauté until they turn a deep brown, then reserve a little of this browned onion on a plate for later garnish
- Add the rice to the onions in the pot and stir until the rice takes on a golden color, then add the fish boiling stock over the rice. When it boils and the rice begins to absorb the liquid, cover the pot and reduce the heat until the rice is cooked
- Meanwhile, place the fish pieces in a preheated oven uncovered
- When cooked, put a small piece of butter on each fish piece
- Arrange the fish over the rice or alongside it on serving plates and serve Sayadiyah fish with tahini tartar sauce and salad
