  • 1 1/2 cups oat flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary (optional)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Method

  1. In a bowl combine oat flour, salt, rosemary, pepper, and baking powder and mix well
  2. In another bowl place the egg, cheese, and oil and whisk them well until fully combined
  3. Put the flour mixture over the cheese mixture and knead until blended; place a sheet of parchment paper, then the dough, then another sheet of parchment paper on top
  4. Roll out the dough and cut it into squares, sprinkle with rosemary, and place them in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 or 20 minutes
  5. Brown the Savory Oat and Cheese Biscuits slightly on top, let them cool to room temperature, then store them in an airtight container until needed
