Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients, then gradually add the water until you have a soft, non-sticky dough
  2. Brush with a little oil, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes
    Timers: 45 min
  3. After it rises, divide it into 12 balls for mini sandwiches, or into fewer than 12 balls for larger sandwiches
  4. Arrange the balls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, slightly touching, then cover and let them rise for another 15 minutes (in a warm place)
    Timers: 15 min
  5. Brush the tops with a beaten egg yolk mixed with a little milk and two drops of vinegar (or liquid milk with a little Nescafe), and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired
  6. Bake in a preheated oven from the bottom at 180°C, or according to your oven, until golden, then brown from the top ( you can brush them with a little butter to give them a shine)
  7. After removing the tray from the oven, wait 15 minutes... cut the sandwich bread in half and fill it.
    Timers: 15 min
  8. Mix all the ingredients together
  9. Cut the chicken into medium-wide strips and marinate it for 2 hours or more; the longer, the better
    Timers: 120 min
  10. Grill the chicken strips on a grill or in a nonstick pan without adding oil... turning until browned on both sides
  11. Once cooked, slice it like shawarma
  12. Start filling the sandwiches: add a little lettuce, then corn, slices of pickles, tomatoes, olives, then the chicken and mayonnaise, then the cheese
  13. Close the sandwich (bread roll) over the filling and serve immediately
