Rice pudding made the homemade way — a wonderful recipe the kids will love!

Ingredients:

4 liters milk

2 1/2 cups rice, washed and soaked

2 cups sugar

1 cup water

3 tablespoons orange blossom water

2 tablespoons rose water

5 pieces mastic, ground

1.5 liters water

For garnish :

Pistachios

Lemon blossom

Method:

Place the milk over low heat until it comes to a boil, then add the water and rice.

Stir occasionally and simmer on low heat until the rice is cooked.

Add the sugar, orange blossom water, rose water and ground mastic, and stir.

Keep the rice pudding on the heat for 10 minutes, then turn off the heat.

Pour the pudding into serving cups and let it cool, then garnish with pistachios and lemon blossom.
