- 2 cups powdered milk
- 5 cups water
- 1 cup cornstarch or cornflour
- 1 cup sugar
- Orange blossom water
- Rose water
- 1 ready-made cream tub (qishta)
- Syrup:
- Meanwhile, start preparing the syrup...
- To make the syrup, for each cup of water add 1 1/2 cups sugar... Bring the mixture to a boil until it thickens, then add a small squeeze of lemon juice. After that, add orange blossom water and remove the pot from the heat.
- When serving the qashtaliyyeh, add the syrup and garnish with nuts as desired, such as almonds, walnuts, and finely chopped pistachios.
