Pasta with chicken, mushrooms, and cream... a very practical, delicious homemade recipe that both kids and adults love. When time is short or you need a quick surprise dinner, this recipe makes for a tasty choice.

Ingredients:

1 bag pasta, any shape you like

500 g fresh mushrooms, sliced

Chicken breast, cut into very small pieces

Dried thyme

A pinch of black pepper

Salt, to taste

1 small onion, finely chopped

A few garlic cloves, finely chopped

1 large carton cooking cream

1 cup milk

Grated ginger or ginger powder

1 tablespoon butter or ghee

A sprinkle of finely chopped parsley for garnish

Method:

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the instructions on the bag or box.
Drain it, rinse with cold water, and let it drain well.
In a pot over medium heat, melt the butter or ghee, add the onion, and cook until softened. Add the garlic, then the chicken pieces, and stir until the chicken takes on a light color.
Add the black pepper, ginger, salt, and mushroom slices, then stir in the cooking cream and milk.
Once the cream mixture comes together, add the thyme right away and stir for about 2 minutes only... finally add the pasta and stir for 5 minutes only before serving.
Sprinkle with parsley on top, remove the pasta with chicken, mushrooms, and cream, and serve immediately.
