  • 5 cups sifted flour or more depending on the flour
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm or warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • vanilla

Method

  1. Whisk all ingredients together well. Be sure to beat the egg well and mix it with the rest of the ingredients to obtain a soft dough.
  2. Let the dough rest for about an hour.
  3. Then shape the dough into hollow-centered circles and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet; let them rest again for about 30 minutes.

  4. After the time has passed, bake the donuts in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12 minutes, or until they are cooked and puffed.

  5. Sauce
  6. 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  7. 1 small bar plain chocolate
  8. 2 teaspoons cocoa
  9. Whisk the ingredients well and cook over low heat until the mixture thickens slightly. Pour the hot sauce over the baked donuts and let them sit a moment so the chocolate layer firms.
