Orange Sponge Cake

Ingredients

- 6 eggs
- 1 and 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Zest of one orange
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla; add the oil and orange zest and beat, then gradually add the flour with the powdered milk and baking powder.
- Finally, add the orange juice and beat until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
- Line the pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with oil and dust with flour.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about one hour.
- Serve once it has cooled.
