Ingredients
- ½ kg (500 g) fresh green okra
- 1 large dry onion
- oil
- salt
- 2 ripe red tomatoes

Method
- Cut the okra if the pods are large
- Chop the onion and sauté it in oil until softened
- Add the okra and sauté over medium heat until cooked
- Add the chopped tomato with salt and cook until it also softens and the okra in oil thickens
- Serve it cold at room temperature or chilled from the refrigerator
