- 2 kg chicken, or as desired
- about 6 garlic cloves
- 2 onions
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- a pinch of chicken seasoning
- a pinch of mahalab
- a pinch of ground cinnamon
- a pinch of ground cardamom
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- hot pepper or chili, to taste
Method
- Wash the chicken well and rub it with tahini, white vinegar, and salt. Rinse the chicken pieces again and place them in a colander for a while.
- Crush the garlic and chop the onion, mix all the marinade ingredients and put the chicken pieces in it for a full night.
- The next day, place the marinated chicken pieces in a large ovenproof baking tray with potatoes and carrots cut as desired.
- Roast the chicken and vegetables in a preheated oven at 200°C until the chicken is completely cooked.
