Ingredients:

Meat filling:

Ground meat

Onion

Seven-spice mix

Ground cinnamon

Dough:

5 cups flour

1/4 cup oil

Water as needed

Pinch of salt

Method:

Knead the dough and shape into discs or small rounds
Place the dough discs on a tray generously greased with oil; cover with plastic wrap
Let the dough rest overnight
Mix the meat filling with ground meat and onion chopped into small fine cubes and spices, then drain in a sieve
Lightly oil a clean surface and oil your hands, then stretch the dough by hand
Fill the dough with the filling and shape into fingers
Place the fingers on a tray lightly greased with oil and bake in a hot oven until cooked
Serve meat fingers with yogurt, salad, and pickles... they are also delicious with soup, especially lentil
