Tahini like you’ve never tasted it before, and without flour! This recipe is incredibly simple, includes peanuts too, and the result is one of the finest kinds of tahini!

Ingredients

  • Half a cup sesame seeds
  • A quarter cup sweet peanuts (unsalted)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • A pinch of salt

Method

  1. Place the sesame seeds in a nonstick pan over low heat until the seeds dry out well and any moisture inside them is removed. Repeat the same process with the peanuts.
  2. Let them cool, then place the sesame seeds and peanuts in a blender and blend for a long time until they release their oils and become smooth.
  3. Add the lemon juice and salt at the end, and blend until the tahini mixture is well combined.
  4. Store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator until it thickens, and keep it until ready to use.
