Savory petit fours ... a super delicious recipe! You won’t believe it until you try it

600 g white flour, equivalent to 5 cups minus 2 tablespoons flour

4 tablespoons milk powder or 40 g

1 egg

1 tablespoon oil

1 tablespoon water

2 tablespoons salt

350 g cold butter from the fridge, firm and cut into small cubes

For the topping:

1 beaten egg

Sesame seeds

Nigella seeds

Mix the dry ingredients, then add the butter and rub it in well until the dough looks like sand.
Then add the water, oil, and egg and bring the dough together without kneading. You should never knead petit four dough of any kind.
Once the dough is ready, leave it in the refrigerator until the next day.
The next day, cut the dough and shape it as desired.
Brush the pieces with egg and sprinkle nigella seeds or sesame seeds on top.
Bake the savory petit fours at 170°C for 12 minutes.
Serve the savory petit fours cold.
