Ingredients

  • 1 liter whole milk
  • 1 container cooking cream for desserts or 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 mastic tears
  • 3 tablespoons orange blossom water

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients cold except the sweetened condensed milk (add it when the mixture heats up)... if using cream, mix it with the other ingredients too
  2. Place the mixture over the heat and stir constantly so it does not stick to the pot

  4. Pour the muhallabia into serving cups and decorate as desired
  5. Let it cool at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator to chill before serving
